Sanford's 18 parks and sports complexes satisfy the outdoor enthusiast and athlete with walking, hiking, biking, football, basketball, tennis, swimming, soccer, baseball, softball or just a leisurely afternoon sitting in the sun on a park bench. And for dog lovers, there's Paw Park where dogs can run free and socialize with others.
Central Florida is a golfer's paradise, home to dozens of private, public and municipal courses within minutes of Lake Mary, Sanford, Longwood, Winter Springs, Casselberry, Altamonte Springs, and DeBary, including top ranked Heathrow, Timacuan, and Magnolia Plantation.
For even more family fun, a short drive takes you to Disney World, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Cypress Gardens or Silver Springs.
